Breaking Bread exists to bridge the talent and opportunity gap, by providing mentoring and leadership development across career stages. We envision a world where anyone interested in developing their leadership potential should be able to do so.
Why does this matter?
Nothing connects humanity more than breaking bread together. Each of us has an inherent need to belong and connect.
But while there is an insatiable demand for experiences, the industry is struggling with high turnover, low engagement and constant shortage of talent. This is where we come in.
Our goal is to invest in people, help them unlock their true potential, and grow as leaders. Breaking Bread stands for the power of connection and learning together. From first-time managers to senior leaders, our unique, peer-group mentoring model helps participants make make meaningful connections, develop competencies, boost confidence and build community.

Independent restaurants aren’t just a part of our community. They create communities and support the local economy. Restaurants have an exponential effect on job creation. For every dishwasher, there is a vendor delivering cleaning supplies, for every server there are suppliers for beverages, paper goods, linen and for every cook in the kitchen there are countless jobs producing, packaging and delivering ingredients.
How do we do this?
Our mentoring model addresses the unique needs of the industry and empowers individuals to build the critical competencies for their growth and development.
Mentoring is both an art and a science. We have exacted our recipe based on extensive industry research and best practices.
