Breaking Down... Breaking Bread
If you are reading this, you already know that we are not a bakery.
But what exactly do we do at Breaking Bread?
We provide leadership development and mentorship that is affordable, actionable and relevant. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of busy professionals and different career stages.
During my corporate journey, I realized that the skills that are most needed for workplace success are rarely taught. Remember the tough conversation that you had with your colleague that you really wish had gone differently. Or when you hesitated to share your amazing idea during a meeting and walked away with To-Dos that you know aren’t going to help the team progress.
These so-called soft skills are hard to master and yet make or break careers. I was fortunate to be in national-level leadership roles for large organizations and loved meeting the people who were at the heart of the organization. I met many talented and hard-working individuals who could benefit from training. Some were ready to grow and didn’t know how to go about it while others had been thrown into new roles that they didn’t know how to manage. Informal mentoring could only do so much when managers have so much on their plates.
You have probably experienced this yourself or seen this in your team…at least that’s what data indicates as most people have not been through formal leadership or mentorship programs in the last 5 years.
At Breaking Bread, we are here to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity through our leadership development and mentorship programs. Whether it is a one-hour workshop or our marquee 6-week cohort program, our participants build Competency, Confidence, Connections and Community as a result of our programs.
Our 6-week leadership development program brings participants from various industries together in a virtual format and is a great way for busy professionals to learn and grow.
I understand first-hand how difficult it is to find time for yourself when you are busy working, parenting, and handling all that life throws at you! That’s why we offer a convenient virtual format where participants meet for one hour a week for six weeks. By the way, one hour a week is less than 1% of your time. And yet, that is all you need to commit to a new skill.
The hour goes by very quickly as participants connect with a small group of peers from different industries. It’s amazing to see participants support each other’s growth and also challenge peers to unlock their best potential. Truly, Nothing connects us like breaking bread together™️.
We offer different tracks based on your experience level such as Early Career Professionals, Emerging Leaders and Senior Leaders. This ensures that your one hour per week is spent on the right competencies and connecting with peers with shared experiences. For e.g.: the Managing Up module helps Early Career professionals while the Strategic Thinking module is perfect for Senior Leaders. Our participants range from leaders at large brands to solopreneurs, newly promoted managers to those navigating through layoffs and career transition.
The best part has been to see the growth among our participants as well as their overwhelmingly positive feedback.
If this got you thinking, take the next step and let’s break bread. There is no perfect time to invest in yourself or your team.
